Take a Tour of O.W.L.
We would be delighted for you to visit OWL and have a guided tour of our permanent birds. From September to the end of June, OWL conducts guided public tours every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm. During July and August, OWL conducts guided public tours every day from 10am to 3pm. Please note you will not see the care center or the injured birds in care, only the permanent birds.

Support Lucy's 1,600 km Cycle for O.W.L.

Lucy Tompkins, a local Delta resident, is planning to cycle 1,600km (1,000 miles) in 15 days (starting July 9, 2010), and hopes she can raise some much needed money for OWL.

Donations!
As a non-profit organization, OWL relies on public and corporate donations to operate and OWL gratefully accepts any donation. At this time, OWL can only accept cash or cheque donations. These can be made either by mail or by stopping by the OWL office. Our office is open from 8am until 4pm Monday to Sunday. For donations sent by mail, please send to the following address:

We Need Volunteers!
It goes without saying that our volunteers mean everything to O.W.L. If you have a genuine interest in helping wildlife, especially birds of prey, we could use your help. Please visit our volunteer page and see if there's anything you could help us with. Experience is not necessary, just the willingness to learn. Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age.

If you would like to learn about the care and handling of these wonderful birds, we are always accepting applications for new volunteers for the following:
  • Bird care
  • Rescues and pick-Ups of injured & orphaned raptors
  • General maintenance
  • Gardening & landscaping
  • Painters
  • Construction, building/roofing repair
  • Public tours
  • School tours / classroom education
  • Annual Open House
  • Fundraisers such as the Spring Hootenanny
  • Gift area
  • Offsite displays
